Bosch L.OS – the joint experience of launching a global platform
In 2022, Bosch officially announced the development of a global service platform for the logistics and transportation industry in a strategic collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS). The joint vision: Broader digitization of the highly complex global logistics ecosystem will only be possible if all market players, including small- and medium- sized logistics companies and freight forwarders across the globe, have quick and easy access to digital services without the need for time- and resource-intensive digitization projects.
In this talk, Daniel Bohn and Leo Hellwich – both involved in this platform endeavor from the very beginning – will provide insights into how the Bosch L.OS – Logistics Operating System platform was initiated, incrementally developed, and successfully launched in three regions. They will also share their lessons learned from technology and business perspective throughout the whole process with the audience.
